Studio A&MC offers private music tuition for everyone.   Lessons are available in increments of 30, 45 or 60 minutes.  Each 1/2 hour lesson in my home, online or in schools is $27.50. 

Anne teaches all levels of piano and follow the Royal Conservatory of Music examination system if desired. She teaches students from 3 years of age and older. You can choose a structured environment or perhaps delight in a more relaxed musical tutoring method.

Private music theory lessons can also be arranged any time.

Studio A&MC offers singing guidance and voice assistance for all ages singers.

I follow many paths to achieve the result wanted. I like each student to work with at least 5 books at any time  for the everyday practice.

An acoustic piano is best as the conservatory tests are usually held on grand pianos, but an electronic keyboard can suffice for a while if the child is under 6 of age.

I do not use a particular method as I find that a mix  of books makes for a better learning curve.

An electronic keyboard no matter how the keys are weighed and the touch made sensitive, will not replace the finger work on an acoustic piano.

I recommend that parents start to look for a used/old upright piano (can usually be found in auctions, papers, Kijiji, or Ebay for less than 500$) as soon as possible once the commitment has been made between the parents.

The sound is not very important for the learner, unless the tone is alarmingly disturbing to the listeners' ears: it is then a matter of finding one that suits your needs.  I can help choose a piano but I have no technical proficiency, only my ears.

I can teach for a little while (with the pupil relying on an electronic keyboard) if the young child (under 6) has small hands and little fine motor skills.  But he/she will soon outgrow the keyboard.
